E-Abhijoga is Odisha State Grievance Redressal Portal– Its objective is to facilitate online availability of the Grievance redressal mechanism to citizens thereby providing him/her facility to lodge the grievances anytime, anywhere. Its two more objective includes to track the status and to send reminders and clarifications, irrespective of citizen’s geographical location, and to introduce a standard and uniform approach of grievance redressal in all State Government Departments and offices to enable the Public Grievance officer for easy access to grievances. e-Abhijoga also includes paperless processing of grievances as per internal workflow of the organization.

The Government of Odisha prepared priority areas for adoption of major e-governance initiatives to bring transparency in public administration and grievance redressal. E-Adjudication is the result of this effort. The nomination form for 2011 2 is intended to provide an online Grievance redressal and monitoring mechanism. It has given a reformist face to the government and facilitated empowerment to the citizen. This effort of the Government of Orissa has led to a collaborative effort with the Department of Administrative Reforms, Government of India, National Informatics Center, Administrative Reforms Department and Department of Pensions and Public Grievances, Government of Orissa.

The Honorable Chief Minister listens to the general public on all working days and receives complaints through his cell on all other days. These petitions relate to pension, irrigation, water supply, electrification, roads, atrocities and personal problems such as sanction of funds from CM Relief Fund etc. Through petitions, the post, person and online system is directly monitored at the CM office and forwarded to the appropriate authorities. . These complaints are automatically reflected to the higher authorities in the hierarchy and are regularly monitored through the online process. Also, it provides the facility to the aggrieved citizen to monitor the entire progress of the complaint at a remote location from the CM office.

e-Abhijoga is unique and quite different from similar projects, to expand grievance filing facilities and reach out to stakeholders who are geographically spread across the state of Orissa. allows a common citizen to lodge a complaint directly to the Chief Minister, who is at the highest level of administration and redress their grievance at the lower level of administration like BDO with information to all concerned offices in the hierarchy. What Facility You Get in e-Abhijoga Portal

Lodge Grievance This module provides free online registration of complaints in the e-Abhijoga portal. Departmental users are created by the nodal officer of the department and are assigned different roles. Lodge Reminder / Clarification This module allows citizens to send reminders / clarifications. View action status This specific module facilitates the complainant government officer and the citizen to monitor the progress / status of the citizen and increase transparency. Master Management This module facilitates online creation coordinator offices in the hierarchy in the grievance redressal process in the portal.

Administrative Module This module facilitates the CM office and other sub-coordination offices to report complaints, studies, either to take action on their end or to forward the sub-coordination office and get the report final settlement after taking action.
